This spring's box office was stellar and may forecast a back to normalcy for the cinema.
'Super Mario', 'John Wick', 'Air', 'Scream VI', 'Creed 111', were all big grossers this spring. The content pipeline for major motion pictures is once again flowing.
'Renfield', 'The Pope's Exorcist', Mafia Mamma', and 'Suzume' are now screening and doing very well.
YTD box office gross is up 29% over 2022 at $2.1 billion. The box office is almost back to pre-COVID levels and there is a solid slate of films coming up for the summer and holiday season.
